Journalists are crucial promoters and defenders of our right to freedom of expression. A right entirely linked to access and share information; to make informed decisions; to help develop and promote governmental, economic and social progress; and to protect all other human rights.
Every day journalists, artists, writers and free expression advocates are being silenced and killed, often with no investigation or consequences to their perpetrators. This straightforward and graphic campaign is focused on educating the public on the recurrent violence perpetrated upon journalists throughout the world, and thus, how important it is to fight and put an end to the existent culture of impunity.
